- 2010 Print Exhibition at Norden Studios -

.....and someone gets a surpsise!

The 2010 Annual Competition Print Exhibition was held at Norden Studios courtesy of Mr Graham Sivills. The opening evening was restricted to members and guests.

Here are a few of the images displayed.

Refreshments were of course availableto those attending

A surprise event of the evening was to confer Life Membership of the society to one of its most prominent members - Mr Ron Collins.

The life membership award is being made by the current president Mr Andrew Hardwick.

 

 

- 2010 Annual Dinner and Presentation -

Members attended the Annual Dinner and presentation evening, held at Maddisons Restaurant.

 

The beginners Trophy was presented by the President, Mr Andrew Hardwick and won by Mrs Sandra Walker.

 

The Advanced trophy was won by Mr Michael Davis

- Practical Night - March24 -

Members attempted a themed table top practical evening - Food & Wine

- Studio Group - Garage Shoot - 28th Feb -

The latest studio group meeting was at a local garage with a professional pin-up style model. Refreshments were also provided for the 3 hr shoot.

- 1st Quarterly Competition - 2010 -

- 2009 Annual Dinner and Presentation -

Rochdale Photographic Society's recent Annual dinner and presentation was held at Madisons restaurant.

Thirty members and guests had a most enjoyable evening.

The meal was followed by the presentation of awards and trophys for the Annual Exhibition Print Competition by the President of the society Mr Michael Tilley.

The Advanced trophy was won by Michael Davis

The Beginners trophy was won by Mike M Mike Heaton

- Practical Evening -

Members of Rochdale PS beavering away on a practical construction night to build a diy light tent which could be used for a digital record competition later in the year.

- Rochdale PS - Studio Group -

The studio group had one of its most successful meetings to date, when nine intrepid photographers ventured into darkest Spotland in the company of a local semi-professional goth model.

 

 

- 2008 Annual Dinner and Presentation -

 

The highpoint of the year as the president congratulates some of this years trophy winners at the society's Annual Dinner held at The Cedar Tree in Milnrow.

 

 

 

- October 2007 - AGM -

 

Mr Ian Nield was installed as the president of Rochdale Photographic Society at the Annual General Meeting.

Mr Nield thanked the retiring acting president, and after thanking mermbers for their attendance, closed the meeting.

A traditional buffet was enjoyed by all the members present following the AGM.
