Welcome to Rochdale Photographic Society

We are a friendly informal club with a varied program of guest speakers, practical evenings and competitions at
our meetings on Wednesdays.

Members range from beginners to advanced photographers using a range of equipment, who are willing to share their experience to help you with your camera or artistic problems. Our aim is to produce better photographs whether in the form of prints, digital projected images or animated slide shows.

We also run a number of 'extra-curricular activities', available to all our members, including outings and visits to places of interest. Occasional weekends away are organised to places of photographic interest, but we also enjoy social meetings, often with a charitable purpose.

These days with excellent quality available from camera-phones, simple as well as advanced cameras, the limit is not in the equipment, but in the way the picture taker tells the story. And we are all trying to do that better.

If you are interested in photography or would just like to know more about us, you are welcome to visit us and be our guest. We offer a trial period of three visits to all guests before asking you to decide to join. I do look forward to meeting you soon.

Lynda Redfern (President 2015-16)

We meet every Wednesday at :Rochdale Unitarian Church, Clover St., Rochdale,  OL12 6TP
