Competition Rules

President’s Competition 2011

This year entries for the President’s competition will be for prints only. The Society’s rules for print sizes will apply (max. vis image 50x40cm; min. vis. image 20x15cm; please note that a 5x7inch print is too small). The print should be mounted on card, again following the Society’s rules.

My other hobby is gardening and so I am setting the competition to include plants and/or flowers. So your image may be of anything that you like so long as one or more plants feature in it somewhere. I regard anything from a houseplant to a lawn or a mushroom to a tree as a plant!

As there will be a creative competition in 2012, I am requesting that there shall be no obvious or creative manipulations beyond red eye removal or light/shadow enhancement.

Four prints per person max.
