You have just missed our 2011 Annual Photographic Exhibition On show at The Hive in Rochdale’s Wheatsheaf Centre in conjunction with Aperture Exhibition 10:00 am to 4:00 pm from August 13th – 28th

We were delighted to have the Mayor of Rochdale - Cllr Alan Godson - and the Mayoress, Gillian Brown, to open Rochdale Photographic Society's exhibition in The Hive, Wheatsheaf Centre off Yorkshire Street.
Here a number of members posed in front of their work with the mayor and mayoress.

The Mayor & Mayoress congratulated the award winners, here from left to right:- Bernard Fisher (Beginner's Print award) stands between the Mayoress and Mayor; then Ruth Green (Beginners Digital Projected Image award) and Mike Davis (Advanced Print winner).
Bernard's print of the monochrome train is behind him,
Unfortunately Peter Lord, Advanced DPI winner could not be present.

Here, Mike Davis points out the winning portrait "The Origami Man" to the Mayor and Mayoress, and the subject himself, Harry Edwards, came from Huddersfield to see the result!
