L & C PU Folio, a chance to view, comment on and discuss the best of Lancashire & Cheshire photography in the areas of Natural History and Illustrative Images.
7th March MIPS Competition
MIPS Competition, held at several clubs where the same set of images is judged each time by a different judge. Our judge this week is Jacqui Cordingley.

We were delighted to have the Mayor of Rochdale - Cllr Alan Godson - and the Mayoress, Gillian Brown, to open Rochdale Photographic Society's exhibition in The Hive, Wheatsheaf Centre off Yorkshire Street.

Here a number of members posed in front of their work with the mayor and mayoress.

The Mayor & Mayoress congratulated the award winners, here from left to right:- Bernard Fisher (Beginner's Print award) stands between the Mayoress and Mayor; then Ruth Green (Beginners Digital Projected Image award) and Mike Davis (Advanced Print winner).

Unfortunately Peter Lord, Advanced DPI winner could not be present.

Here, Mike Davis points out the winning portrait "The Origami Man" to the Mayor and Mayoress, and the subject himself, Harry Edwards, came from Huddersfield to see the result!
