The 4th Quarterly Competition took place on the 24th October 2018, judged by Keith Barber. Congratulations to the winner of the PDI section, Sandra Walker with "Who's There" and the winner of the Print section, Tony Green with "Avocet".
Mike Davis won the W. H. Hardwick trophy as the overall winner from the four Quarterly Print Competitions with a score of 58 points. The score was actually tied with Sandra Walker, but Mike had two top scores within the 4 quarters, which edged him into first place.(The underlying method is to take the three highest scores a member has, from three of the four competitions).
The J. Barcroft trophy was awarded to Mel Dunn as the overall winner from the four Quarterly PDI Competitions, also with 58 points. Her initial score was also equal to that of John Steel (who happened to be last years winner). Mel edged it to first place as her total score across the 4 quarters was one point more than John (The scoring method is the same as for the Print section).
Congratulations to the overall winners, Mike Davis on Prints and Mel Dunn on PDI (Digital).
